Everything About Chanel Spring 2018 Couture Show

Spring 2018 Couture | Chanel – PARIS, France

Presentation of the Chanel Spring 2018 Couture Show was not pretentious. Chanel is also known for her successful parade productions as well as for her tweed suits and quilted handbags.

The set was a classic French garden with a fountain, sand paths and pergolas for screwing. The biggest brand in the world – which had previously turned the interior of the Grand Palais into an airport terminal and a Chanel supermarket – decided to keep things relatively simple while guests sat in a lounge intimate fenced garden, which surrounds a fountain center.

As usual, the curly costumes of the company were on the podium. In the colors evergreen, green leaf and buttercup, the iconic Coco Chanel jacket has been reinterpreted with a cut and exaggerated shoulders. Shorts from the city of Tweed and wider sports skirts completed the sets, while each view of the podium was flooded with a bouquet of flowers.

The Garden Trope took us back to the haute couture season in Paris: a touch of spring wrapped in beauty to lure customers to Chanel’s headquarters on Cambon Street.

Haute Couture and opulent dresses, which reflected their botanical environment in freshness and natural elegance, came into focus.

Karl Lagerfeld said he was run by spontaneity without planning ahead, “I’m not a marketing person, I do not know what I’m doing in any way, it’s the feeling I have and the atmosphere.” The silhouettes were read in this way: like pastel variations in Chanel tweed passages, dressed in chiffon and evening attire. The most beautiful were the last: metallic mini dresses, which were covered with a layer of muslin on the floor.

Of course, it is haute couture, where clothing takes weeks of hard work, and it has not been underestimated. But this time Chanel Spring 2018 Couture show was a glamorous showcase in which Karl Lagerfeld tried to make clothing the star of his own show.
